Sold sixteen advertisements to local businesses within a month to be displayed on a dry-erase board; Organized advertisement slots; Kept up to date with payments and customer satisfaction; assisted in all areas of the board creation from picking slots to helping with advertisement design; worked closely with businesses to ensure design aspects are up to satisfaction.
Intern - Crons (May 2011 – August 2011)
Assisted sports apparel company with every aspect from spreadsheets to social media to flyer design; researched and wrote reports on social media and search engine optimization; brainstormed advertisement and marketing ideas; helped increase customer base for the online store and Tennessee store; assisted in flyer design for special events.
Sports editor for University newspaper – The Blue Banner (August 2010 - May 2011)
Organized and managed staff writers; created the layout and design of the Sports section; assigned weekly budgets interesting to the campus and the community; copy edited for AP style and quality; worked with writers on content, wording and structure of articles; worked alongside co-workers to make editorial, design and managerial decisions; improved communication skills to be more direct and concise.
